Reliable nutrition info, Cronometer

You want reliable information when you are looking to eat out at a restaurant, planning meals for the week, or counting the carbs in a recipe. In addition, you would probably like it to be free, I know I do. I use Cronometer because it only has vetted information. You can track meals if that's something you want to do or put in your family recipes so you know the carb amount per serving.
It will also track specific nutrients if you want to limit phosphorus, potassium, and sodium or ensure you are getting enough of a particular nutrient.
If you are a dietitian or diabetes educator looking to monitor your patient's nutrition, you can sign up for a gold account, which will allow you to make meal plans or see how a patient is doing.
Remember that this is a tool and not the only way to eat healthy. Counting calories down to the exact number can be harmful, so use this wisely.
I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. I only work with companies or products I use and would recommend.
